You will:

• Help build the world's easiest-to-use manufacturing platform
• Own & take responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the software team, including some coding while helping other developers (frontend & backend)
• Write backend code (Python)
• Work alongside CTO to develop tech strategy including architecture, security, and DevOps decisions
• Mentor & oversee our current team of junior developers

StartProto is a seed-stage venture revolutionizing how discrete manufacturers interact with their shop floor. We are using modern technology to build a new work management system with the full works- part-level traceability, a smooth experience for those on the floor, and an AI-enabled analytics suite.

Note: This is a 50% remote, 50% in-office role, based in Atlanta.

You have:

• 2-4 years experience building & shipping complex web applications
• Experience with Python & Javascript
• Familiarity MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
• Worked with AWS offerings
• A love for startup culture

Bonuses:

• Experience with Manufacturing - especially MES, ERP, QMS systems
• Understanding of CMMC compliance or other cybersecurity protocols
• Experience building pipelines for data analysis
