Responsibilities

You Will:

  • Gain a deep understanding of our customers and the needs of end users using research, interviews and data analysis to improve customer experience
  • Identify the interests, needs, and challenges of each prospective customer
  • Support implementation of an end-user adoption platform
  • Utilize Zapier or other integration tools to design and build custom integrations.
  • Work with Product Marketing to ensure we can articulate and promote the benefits of our products with “how to” articles, blogs, webinars, and short videos
  • Effectively communicate our value proposition at all organizational levels
  • Set user adoption strategy and establish a program roadmap

StartProto is a seed-stage company revolutionizing how small manufacturers interact with their shop floor. We are using modern technology to build a complete new work management system with part-level traceability, a smooth experience for those on the floor, and an AI-enabled analytics suite.

Preferred Skills

You Have:

  • A natural ability to relate to anyone and build relationships
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to credibly influence at all levels, internally and externally
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license, passport, and are able to travel without restriction

Bonus:

  • Proven success as a Business Development Sales Representative (BDR), Sales Development Representative (SDR), Account Executive or similar role in software sales (SaaS is a plus)
  • Familiarity with the manufacturing industry is a plus, but not required
  • Prior experience using CRMs (e.g., Salesforce, Hubspot, etc.)

This position requires activities that are subject to US Export Control Laws and require US Citizenship or Green Card Holder.
